Default A "profitable" hobby

I am sure some will read the title of this thread and say "oh great, more about the economics of our hobby, just what I need!!" Well, actually, it's not anything to do with that. This is from a very old (by hobby trade rag standards) article from a Feb.1, 1948, Trading Post magazine. It has an article by Wirt Gammon and many want ads, along with some hobby references etc.... It's apropos on a few different levels.

They need to update this to say that the more flowery prose contained in the auction listing, the higher price your item will realize.

I'm just glad I don't have to write letters back and forth to people. I have a hard enough time keeping track of e-mails.
