Even Tik ended one early....he also never answered me when I asked why he ended it and if he would be listing it again. I can understand someone ending one early on an item they had no clue about, but for Tik to end an N172 auction early?????

Dan,

This is becoming more common. As I have stated in previous threads if it is an item that is not likely to be seen again or not for a long time email the seller with an offer...they can only say no.

It never works for me....plus the last two times I did this I won the item for less than I offered....whoops make that 2 out of the last 3 - I forgot about the T5 Cy Young.

I think any seller that ends their item(s) early without doing "Make offer" icon is taintaing future auctions. Just advertise it the right way. If you want to accept offers than just say so. It feel like I have to e-mail every seller now asking them for a BIN price to keep up with everyone else.

That's a good point Jim. With eBay's new feature there is no excuse.
