Default Mariners' CEO Mather Comments

USAToday ran with a story about why the Mariners are so bad, and how it reflects on the rest of MLB. It just seems to me that next year's labor deal is going to get ugly.

I'm glad this guy is gone. I'm on board with Jerry Dipoto as he has been key to revamping this club and giving us some semblance of hope for the future (something we haven't had here in a LONG time, but Mather should never have had this job in the first place. Good Riddance.

The labor deal (if it comes to a deal) will indeed be ugly.

I'm not a Dipoto fan, but the prospects he put together I hope to God amount to something. Eastside WA resident, the Mariners are my only option for viewing big league ball. For once Im excited for the Mariners. Excited about Kyle Lewis! Hopefully we get repeat ROY award winners!

Happy to see another guy who normalizes these opinions gone. No place for that.
