Default Willie Mays Opinion

Hi everyone,

First post here. I am excited to be here. I am a lifelong sports fan, recently got into collecting. I recently acquired this Willie Mays ball and I am curious to hear if anyone has an opinion on whether it looks legit or not.

I think it's questionable but would lean towards being authentic... Usually he signs with 5 vertical lines for "illie", yours appears to have 6. However, there are plenty of authentic examples that have 6. Also, you can often see a small upward stroke at the bottom of his odd W (the flow of his signature is from the bottom of it to the first i). Yours doesn't have that, but again there are numerous examples without it. Again, I'm probably being a bit pedantic so acknowledging that and the rest of the autograph I'd give it the okay.

You guys are awesome. Thank you.

Hey - newby question here, forgive me. Which company has the easiest or best send-in authentication process? Sounds like you just package up your items, send them in, pay the fee, and that's it?
