Default Dygert, please take a look

I just picked up this Dygert AB350 FR, and was wondering if any of you could tell me what is causing the red on the front going through his shirt, and it looks like on his face, too? It is an AB back, so is this a WST from a different back? It doesn't look like EPDG or SC to me, can any of you guys give me a guess, or better yet, a for sure it is.....whatever? Seems strange to me.

Looks like a Sweet Cap. 350 to me. Could be wrong. Probably an after factory production wet sheet transfer.

So, what exactly is a "after factory production wet sheet transfer"? Would that be from a Sweet Cap card sitting on top of this for a long time (like a 100 years), and eventually it just transferred some of the ink?

This is actually really common in Sweet Caps. I had the same thing in a Schlei and an Abbaticchio I used to own. Both had Piedmont backs.

That's what I've been told. Maybe not necessarily 100 years, but definitely a decent amount of time that allowed the ink and image to transfer onto the other card.

Cool, thanks guys. By the way, I think this is a pretty tough front/back combo, no?
