Default Suspicious 1956 Aaron

I was hoping to get another set of eyes on a ‘56 Topps Aaron I just purchased. It’s a little frosty around the edges, but I have seen a number of PSA slabs of this vintage like this. It feels very stiff when I put a little pressure on the long axis and the two pieces are still fused. I can’t see any of the thin cracks at the edges either. My concern is the PSA site shows this card as a white back and it is clearly grey. Should I be concerned? Any input would be appreciated! Thanks in advance...Matt

It may be just fine. Send it in to PSA for a $7 reholder on your next order. If it's really a gray back, they can denote that on the flip instead. I think with how old that flip is, they probably didn't denote "Gray back" on the flip at that time. So it doesn't surprise me they would have it as the basic white back in the pop report.

Default Overthinking

Think you might be overthinking this one, looks to be about a 6. Lots of psa slabs have "frosty" elements to the sides and haven't been compromised, as stated in the early days i don't think the gray/white back was much of in issue and wasn't necessarily written by psa

Default Thanks

Having the white back as a default makes sense. Thanks for your reply!
