Default More info on 1966 topps rub offs

Really just started to notice these, don't know a lot about them, what series they were in, scarcities, grading. A lot I've looked at seem to be miscut. There also seem to be rolls and strips available. Was that a send away to get these? Any info welcome/ thx bill

Default Probably not much help, but..

No scarcities that I am aware of. There have been quite a few strips over the years - not sure if they were cut or what. Only saw a roll once or twice - I think they walked out of the factory - do not believe they were a send away.

They came 1 to a pack
20 player strips and even rolls of 100s are pretty common...they are being cut up a lot though to get high grade singles

I have a set of singles, several strips and a small roll of them. Saw bunches of them at the last National. I also have a 66 3 card Salesman Sample that has advertising for them on the back. I like them. Very colorful and clear images

I recall at least one master roll, many hundreds on it. Leftovers and/or walkoffs those. Great looking set, I must say.

I put together a set that I finished a few years ago. There were about 20 that were harder to get than all others.
