Default Here's a good laugh...

Check out this thread on the PSA boards. To make a long story short, apparently the guy didn't like the "lowball" offers that he received on his cards ('68 Mantle, '70 Munson rookie, etc) on the B/S/T board, so he posted a Youtube video of himself shredding them. The funny thing is that he must have use a photocopy of the cards, because you can see a white outline around the border on the back of the cards. It's worth a few minutes of your time if you're bored and want a good laugh.

Here's a link to his thread with the cards for sale.

David, that's funny. I have had a few experiences where folks get offended when you make offers for less than what they are asking, I personally don't get offended and will counteroffer if I feel I need to. Some folks just ignore you and will not respond. I always get back to them and explain why I can't take their offer. You never know one day the show may be on the other foot. Thanks. Dennis.

Sometimes however, you do get lowball offers that are almost offensive. I recently had a PSA/DNA authenticated item up on eBay for what I thought was a very fair price (and it ended up selling for almost my BIN price (3% lower)).

Well, I received an offer from en eBay member that was less than the selling price of a similar item in a recent Coaches auction that was authenticated by Morales - no kidding - the offer was that low.

When I politely declined, albeit feeling offended, the potential purchaser then tried to educate me on values. Oh well!

Once saw a guy tear up a card rather than sell it for less, couldn't believe it

my wife "lowballed" a guy on his house price. Fully expecting a counter offer. He burst into tears and took the house off the market! shame as we would have paid fair market value for it.
