Default Does Rob DeWolf Still Post on this Forum?

I was looking through boxes of cards yesterday and stumbled across these minor-league beauties of Rob. I just had to post them..... If you have cards of yourself, feel free to post them. Maybe you played in the minor leagues or major leagues, or maybe you just went to Boardwalk and Baseball as a kid (or an adult).....

I believe he was banned, which should make his cards more valuable, as it has with various Black Sox players.

Rob was one of the nicest guys in the hobby. Always took time to help collectors with their research.

I didn't know we had former players as members of the board. Always makes me wonder what all of us do for a living! Hopefully a board meet up is organized, assuming the National happens this year.

Wow, he played a number of years in the minors. 51 stolen bases in a season is pretty impressive.

Exchanged emails with him not long ago. Good guy and always helpful with his knowledge of the time he played in Wichita.

Isn't he the Lajoie collector? I bought a card from him once and he included a business type card looking for Lajoies that said "I need a Nap" - always made me chuckle.

(I think that was/is Rob) Hope he's doing well.

Me too....just sold him a signed Jerry Seinfeld book for his daughter. Tried to give it to him for my cost, but he insisted on giving me market value for it. Great guy.

Rob is one of the best people in the hobby. We've sold/traded many times, always without issue. He is knowledgeable, well-versed and passionate about Naps/Indians cards and memorabilia.

But the best thing about Rob is that he tells it like it is. No sugar coating or pandering. If he sees fraud, subversion or corruption, he calls it out. Yes he is opinionated, but his "take" is always spot-on and based on many years of education and experience. He is the consummate hobby professional.

I miss his contributions to the Pinback threads. He had a tremendous collection of Cleveland pins and was very knowledgeable.
