Default Johnny Bowers - Reprint?

I know next to nothing about Hockey cards, but I've had this card for a long time and I paid way too little for it at an antique mall. Can anyone inform me how to determine that it's a reprint as I suspect it may be? Thanks!

Looks legit to me but that's my opinion. Any talk out there about these cards being reprinted or faked?

Here's some comparisons to look at and it looks like it came with 2 different backs but I could be missing something?

Default That’s a good card!

Looks good to me. That’s HOFer Johnny Bower’s rookie card. Parkhurst misspelled his name.

It is well worth the gamble to spend for a PSA grading and then it will put your mind at ease.
If you did not pay much for it,then a $30 to have it graded is a very worthwhile investment. Very nice card if it is real.

Thanks for the feedback guys! I was holding out on you a little bit but I did try to grade this a few years ago and it came back "Authentic ?" I was wondering if it may be a known reprint. What made me wonder is the fact that the surface is shiny similar to the 1960 Leaf Baseball. I have no other 54' Parkhurst to compare it to. Anyway, I appreciate the input...

Authentic means real as you likely know so maybe they seen evidence of trim or color added, etc, but I highly doubt it would have received the auth grade if it were a reprint, or especially a fake.

It's a nice card even if just authentic.
Enjoy.

Thanks Irv, I was able to find the holder it came back in. Ungraded with this sticker. I didn't recall when I first posted exactly what it said. Sorry for the huge sideways pic....

I see. An authentic with a question mark.
As far as I know it means PSA is unsure if it is real or fake or something other has been done to it?
Others, with more knowledge, will be able to confirm, however.

Well, PSA never returns a card with "Fake" on the flip, so "?Authtct" is pretty much their way of saying that. I don't like the quality of the black print on the card, but it's hard to say for sure just from scans.

If you want a card, you might not get a deal. If you want a deal, you might not get a card.

Just talked with the PSA rep for Canada and you are 100% correct.
Just PSA's way of saying it is not real.
