I have never dealt with this person but those prices look way to cheap to be legitimate. How did you find this person?

1 euro =1.23978 american $'s. This stuff is way to cheap. A 1914 Cracker Jack Tinker PSA 7 for 100 euros? I doubt it. Check out these prices. There is no way this can be legitimate.

Don't hold me to it but I believe this might be a bigtime scammer. I think we posted about this guy before...or I read it somewhere else....not too long ago....maybe 12 mos... Anyway I would want to talk to the guy on the phone first and quiz him. I have never talked to a scammer on the phone yet. With these high priced cards the seller should talk to the potential buyer or know them and their reputation. Again, pretty sure this guy is a scammer and this is a scam (if I'm wrong don't shoot me).....later

but according to you, a Euro isn't much more than a dollar, so they're STILL dirt cheap!

According to the conversion scale a euro is worth less than an american $. So 100 euros is about $80 roughly. No way is anyone selling stuff that cheap.

Just for the record--

But it still doesn't change the fact that these prices are too low--

Who's willing to roll the dice?

Much of Toni's inventory consists of cards from the BOTN website before BOTN began watermarking its images. I remember the Old Put Cobb in particular, so unless Greg recently sold that card to Toni, I would stay away.

My goodness - There are some cards there I would kill for. If wanting to resell, on some of those cards you would immediately make 200% - 400% of your money on ebay.

Easy call - not even tempting - stay faaaaar away from this guy!

Just in different holders! It IS a scam - I bought the Old Put Cobb from Greg a while back (and still have it in my safe). It is in an SGC 40 holder. However, this guy pictures the same card in a GAI 3 holder!

As a longtime lurker, usually with a shortterm memory, the board spent a lot of time on this guy. Wasn't he tracked to Florida? Have a shop in Greece? Selling vintage unopened wax boxes? Stolen scans? Fake escrow accounts and shipping/tracking setups? etc, etc, etc
If it is too good to be true, especially on-line deals, it isn't either good or true. Another rule David should add to the list.

Tried to buy this one today.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=5107452540&ssPageName=STRK:MEWA:IT

He sent me to his website in an e-mail, which I posted above. Figured it was a total scam, but wanted to make certain. I was surprised when no one else posted about him tonight.

I had to doublecheck my safe to make sure Toni hadn't made a trip to the Ozarks and lifted one of my cards. These are all lifted scans, mostly from Greg S. of BOTN. Check out the 3 E94 Cobb cards for proof, especially the GAI 1.5 one. Look familiar? That violet card has been floating around ebay a lot lately and there is no way that mangled card has a twin.
The guy is definitely a scumbag, or should I say "she" because I seem to remember that a woman was invloved in their transactions. My short term memory ain't the greatest in the world but I still have a few long term memory snapses firing and I remember "Toni" oh too well.

The image of the E100 O'Rourke was definitely pilfered from BOTN's website. I should know, because I bid on that exact same card (and lost )when Greg had it up on Ebay not that long ago.

I wonder how many baseball cards this seller would really sell in the UK and France? Probably not many. The pictures of the "store front" show a lot of hockey, baseball and football items. I don't think any of those sports are that popular in either of those countries.

Do a Google search on the following:

27 Old Gloucester Street London, WC1N 3XX

That is the address used for the London store. I think that he must share a lot of his sales room with a lot of other businesses.

Darn, I really wanted that N172 Mickey Welch card, too.

One last time:

I give up, just do a right click on the picture above and select PROPERTIES - it will give you the URL for the picture, it does come from "Toni's" web site. I was just wondering if someone recognized the card or holder.

Do you mean the same Dave S. who moonlights as Dr. Bond? The same Dave S. who's also known by the tag Harleyman714? Now that's a name I haven't heard in a while. I had some very interesting arguements with that chap both on and off the Forum. I believe he threatened to do me bodily harm on at least a dozen occasions. In addition, he's got one of the filthiest mouths I've ever heard in my life. He's also engaged in some verbal fisticuffs with Runscott as well. If he and Toni are the same guy it wouldn't surprise me.

I just looked at the E90-2 Honus Wagner GAI 2.5 (first graded) on that website, and it is mine. I bought it last year from BOTN on ebay.
