Default FS: HUGE 1959 - 1973 Topps run! - Open to trades now!

Hey guys,

I'm looking to unload my dupes from 1959 - 1973 Topps. I'd like to move these fairly quickly if possible, and looking to get $950. Here is a very detailed preview of each set:

1958 Topps - SOLD!

Total = 233 different cards (P to VGEX mostly with F/G being more of the norm here)
__________________________________________________ _____________________________________

1959 Topps - 1st Series = 10 cards = 22, 29, 51, 64, 85, 91, 96, 98, 100, 101

2nd Series = 115 cards with 119 Callison RC G/VG, 178 Amaro RC G/VG, 200 Giles VG, 383 Larsen/Stengel
G/VG, 390 Cepeda (G/VG appeal, but has a pen mark on front), 395 Howard G, 430 Ford G/VG, 455 Doby VG, 476 Indians Team (marked)

3rd Series = 0 cards

Total = 125 different cards (P to VGEX mostly with VG being closer to the norm)
__________________________________________________ _____________________________________

1960 Topps - 1st Series = 190 cards with 72 Tigers Team (marked), 109 Boyer P, 174 Indians Team VGEX (Unmarked, but has printer marks on the front), 212 Alston VG, 222 Lopez VG, 240 Aparicio P, 387 WS F/G, 413 A’s Team (Unmarked, but heavily creased)

2nd Series = 1 card: #464 F/G

3rd Series = 0 cards

Total = 191 different cards (P to VG mostly with F being closer to the norm….definitely low grade)
__________________________________________________ ____________________________________

1961 Topps - SOLD!

__________________________________________________ ____________________________________

1964 Topps - 1st Series = 157 cards with 7 Clemente/Aaron LL EX (oc), 13 Wilhelm VGEX, 27 Mets Team (VGEX appeal, but has pencil on front), 41 Friendly Foes w/ McCovey P/F, 70 Torre P, 76 CL (marked), 87 Cardinals Team F/G, 101 Alston G/VG, 102 CL (marked), 116 Oliva VG, 120 Drysdale VGEX, 132 Braves Team P/F, 136 Koufax WS NRMT (w/ printer’s lines on front though), 137 - 140 WS cards, 151 A’s Team F, 153 D. Williams EX, 155 Snider VGEX, 167 Piniella RC EX, 172 Indians Team VGEX, 175 B. Williams P, 188 CL (marked)

2nd Series = 130 cards with 205 Fox G, 232 Lopez VG, 237 Cubs Team F/G, 243 Allen RC P, 257 Giants Team (VGEX appeal, but small mark on back), 265 Bunning EXMT (oc), 274 CL (marked), 280 Marichal P, 285 Roberts VG, 360 Pepitone P, 362 CL (marked)

3rd Series = 29 cards with 445 Skowron F/G, 446 Javier VGEX (oc)

4th Series = 3 cards with #529 F, 530 VG, 584 P/F

Total = 319 different cards (Kind of a strange lot. There are definitely some beaters within, but some nice VGEX and EX cards, and even a few few higher. Overall, I feel like VG to VGEX is the grade with many lower and several higher.)
__________________________________________________ ____________________________________

1965 Topps - 1st Series = 133 cards with 15 Roberts VG, 20 Bunning F, 24 Twins Team P/F, 57 Cardinals Team VGEX, 79 CL VGEX (unmarked), 91 Cubs Team VG, 95 Mazeroski EXMT, 104 CL (marked), 126 Dodgers Team P, 5 WS cards all F - VG, 151 A’s Team F, 173 Tigers Team P, 189 CL VG (unmarked)

2nd Series = 33 cards with 217 Alston F/G, 267 Senators Team P/F, 273 CL (marked), 276 Wilhelm P

3rd Series = 33 cards with 361 CL (marked)

4th Series = 43 cards with 379 Giants Team P, 403 Red Sox Team F, 414 Lopez EX

Total = 242 different cards (Very similar makeup as the ‘64T lot only I’d say more lower end cards than mid grade. Definitely some low end cards, but I feel better saying VG as a whole on the lot….maybe G/VG.)
__________________________________________________ ____________________________________

1966 Topps - SOLD!

Total = 345 different cards (The 5th Series really sums up how the rest of this lot is; you’ll have a poor condition card, and then EX, and then VG, and then P, and then VG, etc. Very much a mix, so I’m thinking around VG on these as the median.)
__________________________________________________ _____________________________________

1967 Topps - SOLD!

Total = 441 different cards (Overall this might be the best lot, next to the ‘61s and ‘69s. Nice large starter set with an overall VGEX quality cards, with many nicer and many lower. Personally, I think this set and the ‘61s have the best overall appeal.)
__________________________________________________ _____________________________________

1968 Topps - SOLD!

Total = 473 different cards (Overall VG to VGEX with some better, some lower.)
__________________________________________________ ____________________________________

1969 Topps - SOLD!

Total = 626 different cards (overall low to mid grade with the high numbers generally in better shape than the rest of the lot for some reason. This set is already 94% complete!)
__________________________________________________ _____________________________________

1970 Topps - 1st Series = 119 cards with 17 Wilhelm G, 6 LLs mostly lower grade, 120 Bando VG

2nd Series = 50 cards with 291 Durocher EXMT

3rd Series = 9 cards: 374, 382, 397, 403 Bunning VG w/ wax stains on front, 420, 421, 433, 436 Phillies Team P/ F, 444

4th Series = 2 cards: 495 VG, 543 VGEX

5th Series = 0 cards

Total = 180 different cards (low to mid grade, but average grade probably around G/VG, but maybe higher)
__________________________________________________ ______________________________________

1971 Topps - SOLD!

Total = 433 different cards (low to mid grade, around G/VG average)
__________________________________________________ ______________________________________

1972 Topps - 1st Series = 107 cards with 1 Pirates VG, most LLs, Schoendienst, and JR Richards RC, but no major stars

2nd Series = 109 cards with 198 Hough RC VGEX, 195 Cepeda VG, 237 Yankees P, 226 Clemente WS VGEX

3rd Series = 84 cards with 330 Hunter EXMT, 328 Red Sox Team EX, 323 Weaver EX, 314 Aparicio EXMT, 280 McCovey VGEX

4th Series = 89 cards with 522 Dodgers Team EX, 487 Tigers Team VG, 449 Lemon EX, 440 B. Williams IA EX, 436 Jackson IA EX, 434 Bench IA EXMT

5th Series = 9 cards

6th Series = 0 cards

Total = 398 different cards (nice mid grade lot overall. Most cards fall between VGEX - EXMT, but there are some lower)
__________________________________________________ _______________________________________

1973 Topps - 1st Series = 176 cards with 1 Ruth/Mays/Aaron VGEX, 10 Sutton EX, 7 LLs including Ryan/Carlton F/G, 84 Fingers EXMT, 90 Robinson VG, 100 Aaron VGEX, 136 Weaver EX, 160 Palmer P, 165 Aparicio EX, 175 Robinson P/F, 193 Fisk EX, 199 Blyleven VGEX, 7 WS cards, 213 Garvey VG, 230 Morgan VG, 235 Hunter VGEX, 237b Mathews VGEX, 255 Jackson G, 257 Berra G

2nd Series = 89 cards with 275 Perez VGEX, 280 Kaline P, 300 Carlton VGEX, 330 Carew VGEX, 344 Hunter VGEX

3rd Series = 84 cards with 503 Niekro VGEX, 480 Marichal G/VG, 478 Johnson EX, 477 Cobb EXMT, 476 Johnson VGEX, 473 Aaron EX, 472 Gehrig VG, 471 Cobb G/VG, 410 McCovey VGEX

4th Series = 44 cards with 615 Schmidt RC G/VG

Total = 393 different cards VGEX overall, with some better, some worse
__________________________________________________ _______________________________________

Overall, I do not see a difference in condition across different series. The price includes shipping. Let me know what you think. Thanks!

Jimi

3 sets were just sold separately, so now just asking $2,000 for the remaining sets. The '58, '66, and '68 sets are gone, but still a lot of nice stuff left!
