Nomadland
Saw it last night on Hulu and it just blew me away. Frances McDormand. If you are interested in a low key, beautiful, thought provoking movie I highly recommend it. It’s not overly political but really makes you consider how so many of our fellow Americans struggle to get by. One of those movies I just can’t stop thinking about. Check it out.

Watched it with the wife last night. Low key movie, but fantastic. Frances Mcdormand is a national treasure.
I highly recommend this directors previous film, “The Rider”. Heartbreaking movie about modern day cowboy life. |

Can confirm, The Rider was spot on. Reminds me of the movies they made in the 70's.

I also watched and enjoyed Nomadland. It had a realism about it that was very impressive.

Just finished Nomadland with the wife after reading this post. We both enjoyed. I’m not sure I ever really read this section of the board and forgot it existed. Thanks for the recommendation.

God did this movie suck.
Boring, depressing, went nowhere. A poor man's Into the Wild if you ask me. Or I should say an Old Woman's. |
