Default Sporting Life W601 1903 Manchester question

Hello,

I picked up the W601 Manchester Champions recently. I have seen many of these out there, but this is the first one of have seen of Manchester. It measures 13 inches by 14 inches (the whole page). I am wondering if it is authentic as i picked it up cheap.

Phil

It looks real to me, and in fairly nice condition as well. I think they sell in the 100.00 range (maybe a little less, but maybe a little more when framed).

Alan,

Thank you for the feedback. The main reason I was curious is because I can't find a single other Manchester one (guessing they weren't a popular team, so no one really held on to this type of stuff) and the condition is pretty solid.

I'll be honest, I picked it up for about $20. So, I can't complain. Everything about it read authentic, but I wanted to get others takes on it.

I had a Manchester one. They also made a Holyoke one, a Hartford one, and a few other New England teams (plus other small cities in other parts of the country). They are really nice items and you did very well at the price you paid!

My Haverhill is from 1905, and while I don't remember what I paid, I think it was closer to what Alan estimated the value to be than what Phil paid.

Nice pickup, Phil.

Hey All,

Thanks for the responses. I guess I am just lucky that no one realized what it was that I was bidding on. I was surprised at the condition and price, so I really questioned authenticity.

I love all those pics. Please keep sharing them!!
