Default Barry Sloate Auctions Closes Tonight November 13

Posted By: barrysloate

My internet and telephone auction closes tonight November 13 at 6:00 PM for initial bidding. The auction can be accessed at www.sloateauction.com or by clicking the link at the top of this page.

At 6:00 PM the 15 minute clock will begin and it will apply for all lots simultaneously. At 11:00 PM that clock will be reduced to 10 minutes. If the auction is still going at midnight, we will make a final reduction to 5 minutes. If no bids are received for 5 minutes on any lot, the auction will close.

Even on this last day there are still many lots sitting well below their market value, so it is certainly worth a few minutes of your time to take a look. Thanks to everyone who has bid so far, and good luck tonight.

Any questions, feel free to post them here. I will gladly respond as that allows me to shamelessly bump this thread back to the top.

P.S.- Leon or anyone, could you please lock my other thread. Thank you.

Barry,
I would bid for those T206 Pelty cards, if I wasn't such a poor Jew. sad.gif

The auction clock has just been reduced to "ten minutes without a bid." If anyone still has some work to do, now is the time. Thank you.

Thank you Barry for another well run auction. Unfortunately, I didn't win anything (I was the underbidder on both the Barbeau Carolina Brights and the Wiltse Uzit. Looking forward to your next auction.

Just wanted to say thank you to everyone who participated. Overall, the auction was pretty strong but there were some flat spots, too. I was certainly able to see areas that were not as strong as they were six months ago. That's a sign of the times. But all things considered, there is still plenty of interest in quality material.
