What's the story behind these cards? Similar looking hair and mustaches and they just got the pictures mixed up?

I do not have a copy of the Bernie Wolfe error card but I'm looking for one. I have an extra error card #149 Al MacAdam if anyone wants to swap?

Larry

I put a feeler out on Blowout trying to drum up info about hockey error cards but it never gained much traction.
Not sure, obviously, if hockey cards from any era have as many errors as baseball cards have, but so far it seems like they don't.

Interesting. Just went back through my set and I have both versions of Bladon and Lapointe, but only the correct versions for MacAdam and Wolfe. Hmmm, just had to make me find two more cards haha.

Yea I remember those errors. I am sure I have them somewhere in my collection. I was a younger Flyers fan back then and collected Flyers whenever I could at flea markets ect.
Go Flyers! well.....maybe next year.

Here is a scan of the error 77-78 Wolfe. There are a couple of variations in the 1979-80 Topps set, the photos of Lessard and Palmateer were originally flipped, Topps corrected that but the 2 was too close to Palmateer's name in the first correction so they corrected it again by spacing the 2 from the name.
