Default 1900s Billy Sullivan Type 1 Cabinet Photo w/ Chest Protector

Hi,

I recently purchased this cabinet photo - No markings on it but I believe this to be Billy Sullivan modeling his patented chest protector. I've attached a snip from a magazine showing his similar protector. Thoughts? Curious if there are any other photos like this of him modeling the protector. I appreciate it.

Nice item! There is a member here (pbspelly) that is a direct descendant of Billy Sullivan who might have something similar.

Yep, great grandpa. It's too bad he sold that chest protector patent to Spalding. From an interview with him that I read, he said he sold it because he couldn't afford to bring lawsuits against all the people copying his design.
