Default 1887 Kalamazoo n690-1 & old judge n173 help needed

Hi everyone!

I recently got these from a UK seller.

Once they arrived I noticed differences compared to originals but they still feel / smell old

Are these another set of something?

I found it odd that a UK based tobacco card seller would have quality reprints but for some reason I’m on the fence as to what they actually are. Any insights would be greatly appreciated.

From those scans, they look like average grade reprints
.

How were the items described? Any mention of reprint? Did the seller use the terms N173 and N690-1? I think the N690-1 are team cards.

If the photo on the N173 is one piece and not a photo adhered to a cardboard backing, then it's not an original item.
