Default The Southside Bobby autograph collection

I had the opportunity to catalog and consult on this unique and extensive collection. Over 3,000 mostly in person period autographs of players in their early and prime years. All the stars, commons and impossible to find baseball and football players. Many partial sets in this collection too. The article below is a must read. It really takes you back in time when an autograph was simple moment of appreciation between a fan and athlete. I've attached a few scans and the article has more to view.

What an awesome story, and a great tribute between father and son. Reminds me of me and my dad, and while I was way more of a collector than he is, he still loved to watch and listen to me talk at great length. Amazing collection, and amazing story, and amazing signatures wow!

Bobby's father and mother spent countless mornings driving him to the stadiums or hotels. What a memory getting to meet your sports hero with your father...and get an autograph! It was such a different era.
