Default Multiple Cards with same "markings" (1968 Topps)

Hello,

I am new to collecting, so I'm sorry if this is a newbie question, but does anyone know if it is possible for multiple vintage cards to have the same set of imperfection markings?

The reason I ask is I am interested in picking up the following graded 1968 Topps checklist: 1968 Topps Checklist (cert 15612039)

But I came across another PSA graded card that seems to have the exact set of markings on front and back: 1968 Topps Checklist (cert 15612053)

Similar markings appear on the front under the "A" in baseball, and on the back a line next to the card number and another black blotch. Is it possible that multiple runs of cards had the same markings like this. Sometimes I get paranoid and just want reassurance that this situation is normal.

Yes, we call the "recurring print defects." In the case of checklists, they were normally printed in multiple phased releases, like series 1 and series 2 packs would both probably have the series 2 checklist in it. But since it was printed with two different plates, each variation would have repetitive errors or modifications. The players usually are found cropped in two different locations inside the circle.
Read the "Show of your print variations..." thread a couple threads down to see a wide variety of them.
