Default NEW- Vintage Memorabilia Book Now Available from Dugout Treasures!

For the past two years I have been working on a book that would not only depict the virtual entirety of our family collection, but also chronicle the past 20+ we’ve spent together in the pursuit of vintage baseball equipment and memorabilia.

This book details the story of the hunt and our shared memories from the collecting trail as told thru the items themselves…from antique shows and flea markets, to garage sales and auctions, each item portrayed throughout the 140+ pages has a story to tell…our story.

At long last, Dugout Treasures, Memorabilia and Memories has been completed and the finished product is now available for purchase. We’re very proud and satisfied with the end result but rather than go on and on with self promotion, check out what some others in the hobby have had to say about it thus far…

We hope you take some time to check out a preview for yourself by visiting our website…

Please feel free to drop us a line with any and all questions about the book…if you are interested in purchasing a copy there is a link to follow on the site to get a hold of me. I look forward to hearing from you soon…till then, happy hunting!

Best Regards,
Jonathan

Received my copy yesterday, Jonathan. Fabulous final product! Beyond the amazing photography of your family's magnificent collection, the stories behind the collection are wonderful. Most of us usually say the "hunt" is the best part of collecting. Having those moments cataloged to share with future generations of your family, as well as with all of us, is a great premise for a memorabilia book. Thank you!

This book is a must read for any vintage baseball collector. The stories are entertaining, well written and will re-spark the collecting passion in us all. I'm a left-coaster and it was fun to read about all the East coast venues I have heard about for so many years.

Nicely done Jonathan.

Just wanted to share a bit of exciting and satisfying news with you all regarding the book. We found out earlier today that the Library Accessions Committee at the National Baseball Hall of Fame unanimously voted to accept our book, Dugout Treasures, Memorabilia and Memories, into their permanent collection. It’s nice to think that years from now someone interested in doing some research on vintage baseball equipment may come across our work in the Hall’s library and use it to further their knowledge of the hobby and this particular area of interest.

Anyway, we want to extend our appreciation to all those who have supported the book to date and look forward to hearing from more of you in the near future. For those that have received copies, please feel free to let us know what you think.

Many Thanks,

The Popovich Family

For years, I would stop by once in a while to the Dugout Treasures site to see what the boys had picked up since my last visit. As I have been buying and selling baseball equipment for many years there were days when I would find an old lost friend as one of their new additions.
About a week ago, I received a copy of the new baseball equipment book from Jon, it is truly a history of his families time together and their love for the articles of a game from the professional side to a young boys dream of one day reaching those heights.
Search out this book as it is an American story of family and how a simple thing like Baseball keeps them in constant harmony

Default What a Special Book!

This book truly captures the essence of what collecting vintage baseball memorabilia is all about. It not only has great photos but Jonathan focuses on family, country and best of all - the hunt!

If you like collecting at all, and by collecting I mean driving distances, befrieinding antique dealers, waiting in pre-dawn lines at flea markets, asking dealers if they have any baseball stuff "cause you never know" - then you will love this book.

Congrats again Jonathan.

Jonathan did an unbelievable job on this book. Well written, incredible color photos as well as stories of how the special pieces of the collection were acquired. Anybody that goes to antique shows, flea markets etc... can relate to these stories when you find something special for your collection. Thanks for the great job !!!
