Default Early Thursday Trivia:

...and I do not know the answer, so have at it:

What Major League player has been involved in the most triple-plays.

- as a defensive player only...

I'll check back in a few days and see what you can come up with.

Cap Anson?

Or some old-time first baseman who played forever.

My curiosity got the better of me so I looked up the answer. My guess would have been wrong. I don't want to spoil it for anyone else who wants to guess.
OP,if you want to know who it was, shoot me a PM.

I will guess Gary Gaetti because he was involved in two of them in the same game and had a long career.

Swish Cliff.

Two members know and have been given permission (by me as op) to spill the beans.

As far as I can tell, their research is through 2009, but it is very doubtful the record up to that time would have been broken since.

Good Luck!

I looked it up, all of the players named with either 8 or 9 are obviously 19th century or very early 20th century players.
