Was hoping some of you that deal in these cards more frequently than I would mind opining on what type of value these could bring in auction. Just want to get a ballpark idea. Thanks in advance.

Portrait- 1600.00
White Cap- 1000.00

Hi Jack,

Recent finishers include:

T206 matty portrait psa 5 @ $2,250.00 and
T206 matty white cap psa 6 @ $1,850.00

I think your cards would do quite well.

I think Brian is probably closer to being correct over my estimate. I tend to be a little conservative. Still trying to get a handle on the price increases of the past year or two.

A Matty Portrait PSA 7 sold for $8,500.00. A PSA 5 for $2,300.00. I would suspect the ExMt SGC 80 to be around $3,750.00.

The Matty Black hat is more popular that the White hat. Black Hats in SGC 60 go for around $1,000.00 to $1,200.00. The SGC 70 White cap should be in that range.

Imagene a website that tracked actual prices of cards either sold on ebay or at auction ...hmmm i could set up a website, add some nifty tools and bam!...i got myself a nice niche market all to myself!

Sure it would take a lot of time, some capital but people would gladly pay for it...maybe 10 bucks a month.

I would have to promote my website...but people would think its spam ...and some people would demand free trials..

The white cap is quite a bit tougher than the black cap and is more valuable.

Not sure how to interpret your comment, so will simply say that I am a VIP member of a particular website that does the things you mentioned but I only consider it "one" possible source of information. Hence my request for opinions from the board. I appreciate the continuing input of value from those that have an opinion. Thanks all.
