Default 1915 Cracker Jack

I know there are reprints out there of the 1915 Cracker Jacks. Anyone know how to tell (by looking) that one is a reprint rather than an original? I found one in a box and I think it is a reprint but I am not sure.

Thanks!

If you found it in a suitcase or old cigar box, use a hole-punch to get a sample of the red background. Let it soak in a bowl of apple vinegar - if it turns yellow it's real.

An alternative would be to give your full name and post a clear scan of both sides, but for some odd reason that never occurs when new posters are seeking information about reprints.

Yeah I'll do that as soon as I can figure out how to work my scanner! I'm pretty sure it is a reprint but I'd love some confirmation from all of you.

Thanks!

The fact that the back is right-side up instead of upside down is Clue #1 that this is a reprint.

the borders should blend in with the "whites" in the picture - they don't in this case, i.e - there is "wall" of grey in his uniform running up against the white border.
