Hi Everybody,

I've been on here about a year and really enjoying it, just wanted to introduce myself and start participating a bit more. I'm a huge Mets fan from Brooklyn living in the Boston area for work. Was a very intense collector as a kid in the 1990s (when I was 8 years old, I decided to try to get one card of every post-war HOFer -no Yankees! - which meant a lot of going to shows to negotiate for a 1975 Frank Robinson ), stopped after graduating high school, and got back in over the last year and a half due to the pandemic and just being in a different place in life. Started the 1933 Goudey set with my dad about 25 years ago, and we now have 128 of them. Doing the T205 set for myself because I just think they are the most beautiful cards, which is why I am trying to do it slowly and collect the highest grade ones I can afford. Anyway, just wanted to say hi and look forward to learning from everyone.

Welcome, Jeremy. Those are some great sets you are collecting. They have 2 of my 3 favorite cards in the hobby (I can afford) in them.

Welcome aboard

T205 set is a great set to work on many great players, great eye appeal and even different backs if you want to really go crazy

Default Welcome

Enjoy your cards. Savor their beauty. Take them out every once in a while and peruse them. Be a savvy collector. Do your homework before buying. And have fun!

It's a rough year. Honestly, I have basically been on strike since the Baez trade...

I've been on strike since the Yelich trade. I hope your strike doesn't last as long as mine
