Sorry wrong thread but wrestling card threads are hard to come by
What do you think of the annual cards? 1973-78. Are they actually rare or do people just not care to grade them?

The 73s have a decent little following and I have the top graded set on the PSA registry.....as for the others from 1978 and 1981, they fit into supersize PSA holders so those mostly are sold by individual cards and not really for set builders.....i have sold many 73s over the years and still am selling them....

After seeing a thread on another trading card message board talking about rare cards it got me to thinking about this one.
The only card I own that is actually rare. The only known Blank Back Andre. I posted this a long time ago but since my threads were ruined by Photobucket I will post it again. I think these cards present very well in an SGC holder. I like the handheld holder with no background that PSA uses better but for display I could see many liking this presentation more. |

The Wrestling All-Stars set has officially hit the big time. LOL. There is a "Series A" complete set in the current REA auction. I can't ever remember a modern wrestling card or set in REA before.
Most of the set is raw (even the Andre). But the are some 8s and 9s among the graded cards. The Hogan is only a 7, however. https://bid.robertedwardauctions.com...e?itemid=48498 |

Thanks for posting! I wondered where that Moolah was.
I think it is really exciting to see a set show up in an REA auction. The write up was really good too. Definitely will be watching now! |

At first, I thought maybe it was one of your sets. But I didn't think you had any sets that are mostly raw. Wonder what the set would bring if the Hogan was higher grade and the Andre was an 8 or even one of the 9s.
