Ha, I'm guessing the same.

I sent my payment for REA today, so we'll see which shipment arrives first.

Might be even longer before we receive the Heritage auction winnings.
This was posted on their website:

Due to overwhelming volume, we are experiencing unexpected delays in processing and shipping purchases by 3-5 weeks. We are also experiencing unusually high call volumes and emails, leading to longer hold times and delayed responses. We apologize for any inconvenience, especially at this time of the year. We are working as quickly as possible to catch up, and we thank you for your patience.
Ouch. 3-5 weeks. Hopefully before the New Year?

What a joke. I am literally never buying from them again. Does anyone think that heritage provides some necessary value over other AHs? This is a travesty and terrible that buyers will let them get away with it

Hi

Heritage has size and they seem to get many great cards.
However, as we all know they specialize in auctions of all types and not just sports memorabilia, cards, etc.
Sometimes size has its disadvantages
They do get assortment, they do allow payment by credit card, and they do have some knowledgeable staff, and they app is good.
However, to me they do not give the best deals to the seller and to me their delivery times are exceeding slow.
As a result they are not a primary auction house to me for selling.
To me I bid if I see something like any other place.
But I fully expect the delivery time to be extended. Sadly

Fair point and I initially agreed but I looked it up and travesty has a much more modest definition than you would expect. At any rate, I have really liked Heritage but this is unfortunate. Maybe it’s a pandemic labor shortage. All I know is I made the dumb decision to pay by credit card with the fee rather than wait for funds to clear so I could get my lot faster. Wish I could do that part over since it’ll be 5 weeks anyway.

“a false, absurd, or distorted representation of something.“

This is an apt description.

In early December 2020, I won several lots at Heritage. I was out of the country from that November until end of February 2021. By mid-December I had paid for my winnings, however I never asked Heritage if they could hold my shipment until I was back. I knew that it would take several months to ship and sure enough, beginning of March my shipment arrived. I havent bought from them since.
