Default Looking for bulk pre-1990 Flyers cards

Looking to put together a binder of Flyers cards, Topps and OPC, through 1988-89. Nothing gem mint, nothing too beat up. Just presentable mid-grade cards.

If you’ve got a little stack of Broad Street Bullies taking up room in your common boxes, let me know. I’d also be interested in the Bobby Clarke/Bernie Parent caliber cards, so long as they aren’t too expensive.

Many thanks to fellow board member Grant for sending these my way. He did so out of kindness and generosity, and I greatly appreciate the gesture.

Additionally, they're exactly the type of cards I'm looking for. I'll thoroughly enjoy reading through everything and taking a good, long look at the images.

Thanks again, Grant.

Default Bullies

Glad you enjoy them! Sorry I didn't have a Don Saleski.....I went to a game in Vancouver, where he was picking on a little guy (maybe Boudrias?) on the boards, and a fan reached over the glass and shook Saleski's head by his afro.....great job, I loved it. Then the Flyers invaded the stands and pummelled everyone within reach. Made for some entertainment!

Hockey was just a bit different back then. The rink was a more intimate setting.

Could you imagine such a scene in today's game? Even if "social distancing" wasn't a factor, I doubt interactions such as the one above could even take place.
