Default WTB - Looking for Wilbur Cooper cards

I'm looking to purchase Wilbur Cooper cards with this particular image:

I have an E120, W573, and V61 Neilson's type 2. Other sets that should have this image are V61 Neilson's Chocolate type 1 and W572. If you have any items with this image please let me know. If you know of other sets with this image please let me know.

My notes say that I have a W573 of Cooper (which should be the same as the E120 I think). It's buried away in a box somewhere. Let me know if you want me to go search for it.

Dave, I'm definitely interested. If you can dig up the card I'd love to see scans. Thanks!

Zach - if you just want to see a scan, there is a nice example on vintagecardprices.com

Just search for Wilbur Cooper cards

I guess I should make the original post more clear. I'm looking to purchase these cards. Are you interested in selling your W573, Dave?

From my post I can see how it would appear that I'm only looking for images. Sorry for the confusion.

Ok Zack. I wasn't sure if you wanted the card or just a scan. Give me a few days to try to find it and see what sort of shape its in. I'd be willing to let you have it, but what's the back-story? Why are you interested in this particular image of Cooper? I'm always fascinated by why people do what they do.

Well it's a few different reasons I guess.

- I picked up the same card with a Cafe Du Monde ad from Leon a while back (favorite card from my LA collection)
- Cooper put up some really good numbers for a guy not in the HOF
- I like how the same images were used across multiple sets. It's not just this Cooper image... I also have a few others. Sometimes I'll see a card with a front image that I already have but with a different back and I'll pick it up for no real reason other than I think it's interesting to have the same cards with different backs.

I guess the main reason is that I get sidetracked a lot. I have a few sets that I'm currently working on... but other than that I'm all over the place.

He is also the only pitcher in Pirates history to win 200 games as a Pirate (202).
