Default Need help with Type 1 1952 Topps Mantle

Hi lady and gentlemen,

I just obtained a 1952 Topps Mickey Mantle type 1 card. I was watching bluejacket 66 youtube video about spotting a fake mantle. According to his video, my Mantle is a fake? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NUwmxKaMXmQ

I believe the type 1 and 2 back is different. I am a little confuse right now. Here is the picture of the front and back of the card I just obtained. Is it real or fake?
I might just send to PSA to have it reholder to make sure.

He messed up the details of the backs in the video (it's noted in the video's description).

Your Mantle passes all the main authentic tests and looks real to me

Wow, talk about going from rock bottom to sky high in an instant!!!

(I'm summarizing here) The video basically tells you it's a fake, BUT said video has a big error in it, which makes the exact opposite true. Yowza, that's a freakin' happy ending if I ever saw one!!!! Congrats!!

Yup, it’s fake. I need a nice filler card for my Mantle run. Will you take $50.00 for it?

Thanks all. After replies and further research. I am fairly certain, the card I got is genuine.

Thanks again.

If you make a blunder that big in a Youtube "training" video, you should delete it and reshoot with accurate information.

Your Mantle is the REAL DEAL!
Beautiful 50/50 centering by the way.

SMH.....That dude needs to reshoot that YouTube vid. He shouldn’t have done the vid in the first place as anyone who has ever looked at a Mantle for a second knows Type 1 has the opposite arrows direction and different text alignment than Type 2 on the back side.
