Default Mickey Cochrane "Base Ball Star" Notebook Card *SOLD*

This is part of a recent Vermont barn find. When I saw it on ebay for a BIN I snapped it up for fear it would be won and scrapped in favor of the Butterfinger card it was coupled with. The Butterfinger is Fred "Firpo" Marberry. Both items are pasted to an in-between page of some kind, so if you are adept at paste removal (seller called it "flour paste") the respective items' removal won't affect the other. I kind of like them together but do with it what you will. Feel free to contact me with any questions.

I don't know how to value this item since it is the only one I have seen that exists from this rare and unusual series. I have an amount in mind that I need to get for it, and I also have a ceiling in mind as well, so the first to meet or beat the ceiling price takes it, but all offers will be considered. Here is your chance to get a beautiful and extremely rare Mickey Cochrane item with a bonus Marberry Butterfinger. Please PM me or e-mail me at george dot edema at gmail dot com.

Default ceiling or trump price

The ceiling, or "trumps all offers" price is *SOLD*, by the way. I don't suppose it makes sense to keep that a secret.

Nice item....but every time I read your "ceiling" price, and explanation, it makes me go bonkers. I think what you mean is it is your floor (lowest) price accepta ble....which would mean the lowest you would go on it ($150)? I can't imagine you would want to limit someone on how much they would offer, with a "ceiling" (high) amount? Unless you mean you have an offer of $145'ish already, and then your lowest would be $150 in order to beat that offer. Maybe I am reading it incorrectly....Good luck with the sale too!!

Default imagine it :)

Ha! yeah, it sounds weird, but I mean it as a ceiling price. It's like a "buy it now" without the lesser offers making it an auction and taking the BIN off the board.

First to offer that much gets it, even if bigger offers come in afterwards. It may or may not be "worth" much more than that, who can tell with such a rare item? But I know how much I paid for it and I'd be happy to get *SOLD* for it. So if you think that is a deal, get your offer in first!

I'm considering all offers for it (unless someone trumps it at *SOLD*) for another week.

Default thanks

Thanks for the explanation George. If I didn't already have one I would make an offer. They are very colorful and neat looking to me. Good luck...
