What the heck is up with the bidding on this one -- three different bidders have gone over $50,000 on a card that books at $15,000: |

Zero feedback. Small scans. Hi bidder has a feedback of 4. The seller has been an ebay member for 2 weeks. Something doesn't smell right. |

Be careful what you say to the seller. Based on his handle, apparently he's in fight club. Though I'm sure he'll never talk about fight club. |

Thank you for the translation, Anthony. From that perspective, it sure does make alot of sense. Are you fluent in any other languages? |

Unless it's the Bruces speaking, you know it's bad news when the auction description starts out: |

I think the $500 due initially is all he expects to really get in this scam. Maybe he thinks for $500 someone won't go after him too hard. |

I stay away from buying on ebay. I want to see what I am paying good money for. Therefore, I use a well known local collector with good history, and I tell him what I am looking for. If he doesn't have it, he will seek out my need. buying on ebay seems to be too much of a risk, and it's a bad habit. A place for all kinds of crooks to lay in wait. I'm old fashion, I rather travel to a private collector too see the card before taking the easy electronic flee market way like ebay. |
