Default I Need Help Grading Question..'find' of 200+ T205/T206/T212 + Boxing Tobacco

I need some assistance. I picked up over (200) T205/T206/T212s. In addition are several rare boxing including Pet T229s.

I am not sure if I should use PSA or SGC. Obviously SGC will grade everything as some of it is in poor condition.

There are a few Cobbs, Mathewsons, and Cy Youngs...am I going to get more money with PSA or are most tobacco buyers just as comfortable with SGC??

Any input would be great.

Thanks.

That question arises often.
I would go with SGC.

I'd go with SGC as well, but with one exception.
If you're keeping the cards I'd stay with SGC.

If they're lower grade and you plan on selling them I'd just do SGC for the hof/stars and maybe not grade the commons. A grade means a bit more money since there's less worry about alterations etc. But I figure F-G is pretty recognizeble to pretty much anyone. The difference on a common is probably less than the grading fee.

If there are any that are really amazing, enough to attaract a registry guy, PSA might be better.

I'd probably grade the Pet cards with SGC even if they were pretty beat.

Default Abe Attell

If you have any Abe Attell Card please let me know as I am only missing a couple for the complete run.

That being said, lower grade SGC, and mid grade SCG super high grade might be better with PSA but I generally don't see a huge difference anymore.

Default Attell Cards

I believe there are 4 Attell cards. I know 2 of them are Pet Cigarettes..can't remember the other. Send me an email of which ones you need and I will go through them.

Thanks,

Default Psa

I'd say PSA for all of them, regardless of condition. In my opinion there are more buyers for this set in a PSA slab than anything else. Just my .02.

I collect low grade T206s and I prefer them unslabbed.

Most here will say SGC, but I'll join my fellow Southerner above and throw in another vote for PSA.
