Default What is your opinion on Card Collector Services Inc.?

I'm thinking of buying a card graded by them and wanted to get some input on how reputable they are. This is the first card I have seen graded by this company. It is graded a 4.5 vg/ex+. I'm just wondering how I should gauge the value of this card. Thanks a lot.

Luke

Default I guess nobody has any strong opinions...

but is it safe for me to assume that the card is authentic?

Hi Like

I have never heard of this company before. I would generally avoid cards not graded by SGC, PSA, BVG or maybe GAI unless you really know what you are doing

Like Jeff says, no one really knows about them. I wouldn't take silence as an endorsement by any means. I would be very, very careful and get a 2nd or 3rd opinion from someone you respect in the hobby. Most guys on the board, who have been in the hobby a long time, are glad to help. regards

usually there is a reason why the card isn't in a SGC, BGS or PSA holder.
