I have always enjoyed larger format cards and posters despite them not being as popular or valuable as regular issues. (There are some exceptions and a couple of these Trouts cost quite a bit on secondary market).
Anyone else with Heritage cards they enjoy and want to share?
That punchout Trout/Harper is sweet. I have some of the Greatest moments coming, will post them when they arrive.

Until recently when I decided to assemble my 1953 Bowman color set, I had all of the master sets from 2001- 2019. I was able to collect the SSP variations through 2008 and then 2010-2011. For my 2012 set I'm missing the Francoeur color swap and the Perez with the minor league stats title. Likewise, in 2015 Heritage I am missing the Donaldson and Miller traded cards to call it complete.

I am selling my master sets from 2001, 2016, 2017 and 2018. I have the logo variations for 2009 and 2014, the color swap variations for 2013 and action cards for 2013 and 2014 for sale as well. I'm almost done with my 53 Bowman set and am planning on purchasing 71 Topps complete sets in baseball, football and basketball to remember my childhood.

I actually completed the 2020 boxtopper 55-card Greatest Moments set, only 50 of each made. Will post the set here in the next week.

Now that is a good one.

I opened an entire case of 2020 Heritage; 1971 Topps has long been a favorite set. Didn't even manage a full set from the case. No real good hits either, though I did end up with the full number of hits averaged for a case.

i appreciate that the nature of the variation is spelled out right next to the card number this year. Those tiny codes were killing my eyes.

The 1971 design is very nice! For those who collect Heritage we know how truly hard it is to get good hits. The pack odds are very difficult.

The last set I was working on before I left cards was the 2006 set (1957) design. I loved the look but most important for we was the HOF players in the set were stacked. My guy before Griffey and my first guy I collected was Duke Snider and this set had a lot of tough cards for him plus autos for both Robinson’s Banks Berra Musial Ford. It was stacked for sure. But after two cases I realized how hard Heritage was to pull good cards from all the sp ouch. So I have recently picked it back up and have made some serious progress. So yes I collect Heritage like the pre war guys collect T206’s.

I am looking forward to the 2021 set but with a little trepidation about the sheer number of inserts/variations/manufactured errors. But I do like the '72 design both front and back.

I will get this up ASAP. Work finally slowing down.

There will be an extended series coming out around December I imagine.

I had master sets from 2001-2019 before I decided to begin a 53 Bowman color set and I sold the majority of my Heritage sets. I still have some for sale, but I have keepers as well. I need essentially 3 cards to finish what I would consider to be my "master sets;"

2012 Francoeur color plate variation- it's been on eBay three times and each time I've been the second highest bid.

2012 Pena major/minor league stats back- I've never seen one yet for sale

2015 Donaldson traded- I've missed out on this one as well.

For my 2011 set I've used a green tint #139 Chamberlain, the prices shot up on the non-tint card for a bit, but I haven't actively sought it out as my interest has waned since I assembled and now upgrading my Bowman set.

How many of the particpants also collected the Bowman Heritage sets? They seldom come up in conversation.

No on Bowman here. What exactly do you include in your master sets ?

It would probably be easier to state what I didn't include as a part of my master sets:

No chrome or autographs
No box toppers with the exception of some of the salesman sample panels.
No minor league cards

What I did include:

For 2008, 2010, and 2012 I have all of the insert sets, high numbers, SSP cards/variations. I have a handful of the color tint variations for 2011.

I have the black border sets for 2011 and 2012 as well as the boxed 2012 high number set w/o the autograph.

For 2015 I have a 1-725 set with all of the inserts, action, color, errors and traded variations. I don't collect the throwbacks or reverse/back color variations.

When I started with 2016 I never really focused on getting all of the errors or color variations. I have nine insert sets, plus I have the black border and purple refractor sets. It is a 1-725 set as well.

Pretty much has been the same for 2017-2019. I purchase the high number insert sets, although I never completed the Aaron Hammer set.

I'm selling the 2017-2019 sets in order to por money into my 53 Bowman set or hopefully to begin a 59 or 71 set

I was able to complete a 2020 Heritage base set. This last week I purchased one box of high numbers and was just nine cards shy of completing the set. Only one duplicate.
Nine were short prints so I felt pretty good with my odds on boxes from my local card shop. I love the 71 set and it was my first to collect as a kid so these were right up my alley.

High number boxes? I bought one last weekend from a card shop in San Marcos, Texas. Shop owner was complaining he only got two boxes from his supplier.
