Default Pin Info - Hudson Marines?

I just picked up this pin but have no idea who it is or what team, anybody have any ideas? It looks to be from the 1910's.

Does not appear to be from any set I've ever seen...I'd guess right around 1905-1910. Probably just a town team player. His mother probably had a button made. Just like today anyone could have a pin made back then.

Superior, Nebraska team circa 1910...actually a mirror, but the same celluloid process was used.

I don't have the pin in hand yet, but it looks like an A and U on the jersey and a third letter that I can't make out what it is.

Where is it coming from? If it's "AU" then perhaps that's Auburn? There is of course Auburn, Alabama....then there are smaller towns all over the US with that name...including one in Nebraska.

There is an Auburn in New York. Perhaps from there? of maybe Auburn, Maine?

Just received the pin today, not sure if the first letter is an A or an H, the other two letters are UD.

Anybody have info about the Hudson Marines? Checked the lettering with a magnifying glass and it's definitely an H, so the lettering on the jersey is HUD.

Found this pic in a 1903 Spalding Guide, anybody see any resemblance with the pin and Mcdonald?

impossible to tell from that Spalding photo. I see three guys in that photo that have a passing resemblance, but without a real detailed photo you probably will never know for sure.
