I was on a PSA graded ticket kick for awhile there. Here are some of my items.
image uploader That is a ticket from the Game 7 where Mazeroski hit a walkoff vs Yankees. Ticket stub from the game where Hank Aaron broke the all time HR record. Tickets from each of the SF Giants World Series clinching games. I am a Giants fan, as you can see. Ticket stub from the Buckner game. Full, unused ticket from the 1989 Earthquake game Full, unused ticket from Red Sox World Series win in 2004. Hope you guys enjoyed! Last edited by Vit-d; 03-03-2022 at 11:02 PM. Reason: Changed |

Very nice and rare full ticket to that Gibson game. Whenever I see a full ticket to a milestone game, I always wonder how the person who owned the ticket felt after missing the game. But in this case, that person had a lot of company - all the folks who were out in the parking lot leaving early when Gibson went yard.

My dad has always been a big “leave the game” early type.
He actually went to Game 1 of the 1988 World Series with some friends. As the story goes, he was asking them all night to leave early, and lucky for him, his friends shot him down every time. Otherwise, he would have been one of those brake lights in the background when Gibson hit the HR. |
