Default Jerry West "The Logo" passes away at 86

A sad day as the basketball world has lost one of it's premier players, and most brilliant minds. West is one of, if not the greatest front office mind the game has seen, not to mention his countless exploits on the court. A truly sad day, indeed.

Trading Vlade Divac for the draft rights to Kobe was a hell of a move.

One of many great ones, for sure. It still is unbelievable to me that the Jerry Buss would eventually side with Phil Jackson over Mr. West, which led to Jerry leaving the Lakers.

One third of the trio that led the Lakers to a winning streak that has yet to be surpassed though the 2014 Heat came very close. And to nicely cap it off won a a NBA title against the Knicks - the Lakers' first after moving to L.A. R.I.P. to the logo.
