Default 1923 World Series Baseball Signed By Yanks n Giants

Posted By: Mike

On June 13th history will be made again when a 1923 World Series Baseball signed by the New York Yankees and the New York Giants including the signatures of Babe Ruth, Irish Meusel, Joe Dugan, Casey Stengel, and the rest of the teams' players will be auctioned off in NYC. Note that the ball does not include the signature of Lou Gehrig b/c of the early feud that arose between him and the Babe. The ball is also extremely rare b/c Ruth did not sign the ball on the sweet spot, as he always insisted on doing. This is a piece of baseball history and as priceless as Ruth's 1923 homerun bat that was sold for $1.26M, this past December. This baseball will be featured in Part II of the joint auction between Sports Cards Plus and Sotheby's. Keep an eye out for this item, it will be big!

Historic indeed. Did Mcgraw scratch his name on it?
