I have went through all the site members' collections shown in the Vintage Links section and there are some great collections. I have also seen some that have been posted within threads that aren't in the Vintage Links section. Site members have some impressive registered sets which have been shared either on the site or with me privately.

Someone posted their collection which was in a photobucket account which gave me the motivation to develop my own photobucket site. It's easy and it taps the maximum of my internet site development abilities. Anyway, I was hoping others would post there collections or set registry...especially if they are not shown in the Vintage Links section.

Nothing against n172s. I had one until a couple weeks ago and it went in the trade to get the Plank Breisch Williams. I am hoping to acquire a HOF N172 Portrait card...many auctions coming up, so my fingers are crossed.

Wow. Great collection. Thanks for sharing. I really need to invest in a scanner as your website has motivated me to do something similar. I don't have nearly as impressive of a collection as you but it would be nice to have something set up. Thanks again.

Love the collection! I went in and started building my own site. I should have it ready in a few days. It's nowhere near as impressive, but who cares right!

I don't own a scanner either, and have no desire to. Not too long ago I stopped in a Walgreens (pharmacy/store - for those who don't have them in their area) to print off some digital pictures and they had an Epson scanner there. I brought all my SGC slabs in the next day and spent an hour scanning them in. They take the scans and for $4 transfer them to a CD. I then copy them from the CD to my PC and edit as needed. It works out great! I'm sure they have similar set up's at most photo processing places.

Thanks for the idea Cat. Here is my current meager collection. Most everything is now in an SGC holder, I just don't have all the scans updated.

It's small now, but growing every month! I gave up my E95 quest in lieu of collecting cards and issues that I find interesting and pleasing to the eye (and pocketbook!). Still looking to complete the HOF Port collection minus the big two.

Thanks for looking!

Bill

Great collection. My favorite two are the rarest, these are the E107 Plank and the '51 Teleteros Gibson. Thanks for sharing.

Hal:

I'm sure you recognized that theme pretty quickly. But I could never force myself to stay strictly with HOFers. I had to have a Maris card and Joe Jackson too. Heck, you may have noticed some players in the late pages that may not have fit in at all (Kingman??? Buckner???). I added a few that were popular during my youth. I originally wanted to stay solely with players elected to the HOF by the baseball writers, but that left out to many late 19th and early 20th century players, so I somewhat make up my rules of collecting as I go.

Bill:

Glad I could help and those cards look good to me. ALMOST everyones collection is meager to someone. You won't see me laying my collection side by side with Hal's.

Photobucket really was a decent mechanism to show my collection. It looks like it is working well for you too.

Frank, that Plank is a very recent acquisition and I need to thank Brian McQueen for that.
