Does anybody know is where my best bet to find a vintage baseball card? I am looking for Frances (Frank) Ellerbe. 1922-1929. |

my records show Frank Ellerbe played from 1919-1924 for the Washington AL, St. Louis AL, and Cleveland AL. I checked most of the major sets of the time, and found he is in the 1922 American Caramel E120 set, 1922 W573 set, and 1922 V61 Neilsons Chocolate set. All 3 of these cards have similar fronts, and are sort of related. I didnt see him in any other sets, but there may be more. I dont have any of his cards, but they are out there, and wont cost too much if you find one ($10-$35 in most cases). Good luck! Frank |
