Default 100 Years Ago: A Cobb/Lajoie Show Me Thread

I was reminded by a nice article (although it relies too much on Al Stump's "version" of Cobb) in the latest Sports Illustrated that 100 years ago the batting race was gripping the nation as Cobb and Lajoie were battling it out for a Chalmers automobile. I figured now was as good a time as any to show your Cobb and Lojoie cards and memorabilia.

For those who don't know about the 1910 batting race a short synopsis is here:

I have had it for a few years....and have known of Rob's for a few years too. If I recall correctly a dealer had both of them and I got to pick the one I wanted as they were both the same price. It was almost 50-50 as both were about the same in looks .

Here is an S74 Cobby with a very scarce Helmar back...(pardon the other silks please)

An offical American League ball signed by Ty Cobb. Eddie Collins, Connie Mack, and Tris Speaker also signed it. I think it is from 1928 when all four were with the Athletics.
