Pittsburgh Provision Honus Wagner (c. 1946) - Need info

I was wondering if anyone here has another example of this card. My father-in-law, a Pittsburgh native, was going through a box his grandpa had left him and found this card among other Pirates news clippings and such. I found it in the Standard Catalog, but the listing there says it was a black and white card and this is clearly green ink. Are all of them printed in green ink? Interesting that the catalog also does not know the year it was printed. They guess it at circa 1946. When my father-in-law first showed it to me, I guessed the 1940's before looking it up due to the paper stock and printing, so SCD's estimate sounds right to me. Anyone have their own idea as to when it was printed? SCD guessed it was a promotional item printed up for Wagner to hand out at promotional appearances. Scan is enlarged to show detail, actual size is 3 7/8" x 2 1/4".




If anyone else has a scan they could share for me to compare this with. I'd appreciate it!

My 2005 Standard Catalog gives the date as 1948. It still says that's a guess, though, simply based upon the photo.
