When you're hungry, find a place that sells "Vienna All Beef Hot Dogs"
These are a "Chicago" Specialty! They're on a poppy seed bun, with mustard, dark green reish, onion, tomato and a dill pickle slice. Don't ask for ketchup. You might be asked to leave. Ketchup is a "No,No" Also, try an "Italian Beef" sandwich,Great! Last edited by Ben Yourg; 05-10-2021 at 02:32 PM. |

I say they have the National in Texas and try something different for a change and then we combine it with a Net54 Chili cook off. Cleveland, Chicago, and Atlantic City once in awhile gets old and boring.

Some interesting thoughts: One triggers a clear memory. I had picked up some very tough and rare Old Judges and had them out when the show opened to the public. A buyer who I knew for many years came by with his friends and they looked at them and just did not pull the trigger or ask me to hold them for them. They all came back literally 15 minutes later and they were all gone. They just looked at me and thought I was kidding them -- but I wasn't. So if it is important that you get something and you find it at only one or two booths, don't make that same mistake.

Latest Update from the NSCC as posted on FB
The State of Illinois has announced that they are entering the “Bridge Phase” of their reopening plan. This phase precedes their “Phase 5” in which all activities are permitted with no restrictions. The metrics to be used to proceed to Phase 5 are as follows: Once 50% of residents 16 and older have been vaccinated (already accomplished) and stable or declining COVID-19 metrics are recorded during a 28-day monitoring period (ending June 11), Phase 5 will be implemented, removing capacity limits and other restrictions.
The National had previously mentioned that a final decision on the 2021 National will be announced in early June. We feel even more comfortable making that decision given the actions of the State of Illinois. We will follow the numbers from the Illinois Department of Public Health closely. We fully expect that the 2021 National will proceed as planned.
