Default Wilbur Cooper sig. baseball

All,

I am looking for some thoughts on the value of a single signed, Wilbur Cooper baseball. The ball does have a salutation and I have to image that impacts value, along with the fact that its on a OAL ball and Cooper was a NL player.

The ball is from the 1943-1947 period and it does have a really nice box accompanying it. The ball itself is in EX+ condition with just the mildest of toning.

Cooper signed the ball (to Stephen) in blue pen and added "Pirates 1912-1924".

So, is the ball legit and, if so, what's the potential market?

Thanks,
Jon
