T204 Runs: Anyone else?
I recently completed my T204 run of Kitty Bransfield cards -- thanks to a blank back pick-up in the last B&L auction (thank you gentlemen!)
Was wondering if anyone else collected like this? I only collect Phillies cards from some of the mainstream sets, so was happy to complete all four varieties of Bransfield's T204. I'd love to upgrade the TTT and Ramly, but Bransfield seems to be rather pricey in mid-to-high grade, and I've not seen another TTT. Although I'm sure Scott & others on this board might have some: |

That's a nice run. I'm sorry I know so little about the set, because they seem very cool.

Nice lot Marc and one that is hard to duplicate for a few reasons. Only six players to pick from and one is Burkett, plus they are rare to find with both TTT and Blank backs(just rare in general). An impressive accomplishment! I have more cards of the same player, but unfortunately he doesn't come with a TTT back and I've never seen a blank back

Nice Ramly run, Marc.

Nice post, I never even realized that T204's had different backs/fronts. I assume any run would be very hard.

6 Square border T204's
Anderson, Bancroft, Bransfield, Burkett, Dineen & Moran all come with all 4 backs. The square borders have their back, all of these subjects when they are do not have the square front border come with the ramly back, the TTT back, and the blank back. It has taken some time, but I have the 4 back versions of each of these square bordered cards. Which cards are possible with TTT backs is a subject of debate. Scott Brockelman and I have confirmed 52 or 53 subjects, with the help of some board members. Scott thinks that all 121 may be possible, but I think that the possible number is either 55 or 66. Might try to do another board survey fairly soon.

also
As an addendum to Peter's post, only the 6 mentioned players come with true Blank Backs. ALL others found blank backed are the result of early two part Ramly cards either being soaked apart or falling apart due to storage in damp or humid environments. The difference is also tell tale when comparing the 6 Blank Backs to a 1/2 of a two part Ramly card, the true Blank Back has very strong embossing on the back, while the 1/2 of the two part card is much weaker(and a bit thinner). Also it appears that some of the Blank Back 6 do or do not have the glossy coating applied as the normal cards do.
