Default Baseball Mascot Photos Thread

A recent post of a baseball mascot photo got me wondering what else is out there. Post a baseball mascot photo or share what you know about the tradition around baseball mascots.

I only have the one.

Cecil Haley. Giants mascot. 1939.

1939CecilHaley

For more on Cecil Haley see: https://baseballhistorydaily.com/tag/cecil-haley/
Article notes the very different response of the black press compared to the AP.

Not my photo but it is my favorite mascot photo. He probably scared the hell out of the kids.

Great photo.

So, the "KGB" chicken? Never heard of it referred to as that. Interesting.

Kind of a mascot. Reference to the Player's League of 1890.

Default Eddie Bennett

Famed mascot of the 1927 Yankees...also mascot of the 1919 White Sox and 1920 Brooklyn Robins... Here is a picture of Eddie Bennett in 1921 with the Yankees and a picture of the two "mascot/bat boys" with the 1919 White Sox....my question is...which one of the two is Bennett???
