Default Rabbit Maranville Opinion

I was just curious as to an opinion on the authenticity of this Maranville autograph? I know its not the best example but is it authentic?

Thanks

Not an expert here,

But I can't say that I am a fan of that one... really don't like the "R" the ones I have seen drop down loop at the bottom and race upward to form the top of the R..

Obviously the "R" is an issue unless the pen totally missed the paper on the primary "R" loop, which could have happened in a number of ways such as walking and signing, or holding it in the palm of his hand to sign, etc. I have GPC from 1934 and a HLS from the 1940s to the Sporting News and yours looks Ok except for the "R" IMHO .

I don't think it looks good at all. At the least, I would look elsewhere if you have any doubts. Why settle for something you are unsure of that doesn't look good....Here's a copy of mine for comparison.
