There are some awesome, awesome rooms here. Congrats to everyone.

I wish I had a man cave to display my stuff, but for now, most of my goodies are put away. I don't have a lot of vintage pieces, but it's something I have always wanted to add to my Yankees collection. I find vintage Yankees to be real expensive. Good thing I'm also a Jets and Knicks fan as they're stuff is pretty affordable.

Maybe some day, I will have a cave and I can display it here.

Mike

Just a corner of my way-too-small display room, but the snowstorm gave me a chance to organize my bat rack & accompanying photos (mostly type 1's). Unfortunately the bats on the rack do not have any direct correlation to the players in the photos...

This is my "memorabilia room" along with most of the garage. It's a much more solitary affair than some of the more-inviting man caves that others have shown, and if the "stuff" flows out into the rest of the house, I start hearing complaints and threats from the wife (which, now that I look at the photos, is understandable ) Believe it or not though, there is some order to this chaos

You should see it when it's a mess! Actually, it is pretty rough right now. I need to get a lot of stuff sold and/or filed away. The "stuff" has been coming in much more quickly than going out of late, and it's about to overtake me. Good thing I'm not claustrophobic!

Yup, that is the official "box corner" where boxes of possible future use are flung indiscriminately. Somewhere under there are some that are actually broken down and organized by size, but they've not seen the light of day in quite some time.

Sorry, just saw this so i never responded. I did put it together myself. Collected signed indexes from former Heisman winners, mostly through the mail, and framed them all with the picture. Thanks for the compliment.

The only problem with that is 'Redskins', but it is so cool I can overlook it. That bar looks soooooo much like a friend of a friend's man-room in Virginia, but his room was Pittsburgh-themed. It was mouth-watering to be a man visiting a real man-room like that - no way a woman could possibly understand...except mine, who approved the NFC championship game tickets and 'made' me buy the best seats possible.

I just finished my 'Dallas Cowboys' wall. Not enough light to get a decent pic.

I like the way you display the jerseys. You don't see that very often.

George, Real treat seeing your collection, thanks for sharing...The one below...is that a litho? woodcut? .what is that all about?...What does the title say? Who was the artist? What are the dimensions? Looks like original frame. How did you get into collecting and where do you make your finds? -Carlton

Thanks Carlton. That particular piece is a lithograph by the famous print maker Louis Prang. He developed 2 baseball themed ones with the other being an aquarelle print (link). I have a modern oil painting of that one (show in my previous post). This particular piece is his second one and is titled "A Stolen Base?" and was inspired by a Frank Small original painting. It measures 22"x28". Actually here's a nice writeup on another one (link).

I enjoy collecting things that I can display so this one is a great fit....my segway into lithographs was the Harper's woodcuts and then I went from there.

I'm pretty sure I haven't posted in this thread....I think I only put up a few pics in another thread, when I joined a couple of weeks ago. Forgive me if some of these pics are redundant and show the same thing. One good thing about this room is that it's in a windowless, basement room....no light, very little dust.
