I would say highly unlikely. Both the B and O are uncharacteristic.

Rich here is one I own. Supposedly signed about 2007 around the time he announced his candidacy. I bought it for another reason completely (is a game used ball from a certain date) and don't knopw if the signature is real but I think it is.

Default Obama........

Richard,

I have met him 3 times and he signed twice. I have a baseball signed (possibly one of the earliest) as he was a Senator visiting Vermont and I had a "hunch"! I wish I had gotten a few as it was really easy.

The 2nd time he would not sign.

The 3rd time I met him was in Afghanistan and security was so tight that all I had was my military notebook with an index card so I have a beautiful 3x5 which i feel is actually pretty rare now that I think about it.

Both items are in my safety deposit box but when I get the chance to photograph both, I will send you the photos for future use.

Michelle Obama was in VT for a fund raiser and she visited our military base and Secret Service would not allow her to sign a baseball?!?!?! Ugh!! Luckily I had a color photo that she signed perfectly.

Thanks!

Mike
